Hello everyone out there in Internet Land! Marlin the Elite Episode 12 has been released on the intertubes. Also, we released some out-takes from Commercial Sabotage. So go check those out. In addition, we have some new movie line ups  for the near future. We just got finished filming a Halo 3 style Italian Spiderman trailer. I'm going to try something a little different though. I'm going try and post it on a website called machinima.com. This will hopefully bring in more attention to Thomas Productions. So this next week will hopefully see the release of that. And finally to conclude this blog entry, a slew of holidays are coming up, which can only mean one thing...

Just a quick update: We filmed a new live action movie yesterday and I finished editing it today. So it should show up on YouTube tomorrow. Make sure you follow the directions on the description before you watch it.

Hello. Another quick update. I said in an earlier post that our new movie Assault on the Citadel would be on HaloTube in a better quality as well as a lower quality on YouTube. That is no longer happening. So just watch the movie on YouTube. Also, we recorded a new podcast commentary that should be up soon. All right. That's it.

Oh! And I made a new header for the blog out of pictures from our movies. Hope you like it!

   Hello. There's a lot of new stuff happening right now with TP. We got a brand new episode of the TPCast (episode 41) that you should listen to. We got some great new movies hitting the internets like Marlin Ep. 11: Tryouts, Hogtastic, A Message from Marlin: Valentine's Day, and a new trailer for an upcoming machinima film called Assault on the Citadel. This new movie is planning to be released on Saturday, February 16: just in time for "winter break" or "February Recess" or whatever they're calling the week off in February. In between now and then, there will also be another trailer for "AOTC" with more footage goodness. 

   In other news, I have discovered a site called HaloTube (basically a YouTube just for Halo videos). I have added a couple of videos there such as Halo 3 Dance TV, Hogtastic, and the teaser for AOTC. Naturally, AOTC will also be posted here when it comes out. And when it does, I suggest that you go see it there (HaloTube). The reason being is that HaloTube accepts lager video files, therefor the video will be better quality. I have already gone through s lot of time making two versions of the film (one for HaloTube, and one for YouTube), so please watch the video in the better quality. One last thing: the website (thomasproductionsinc.com) has been retooled slightly to incorporate this blog on the front page. This is so I can still post updates without having to fire up the 'ol PC and go through the time to update the site all the time. That being said, the site will still be updated, just not as often.

Oh! I forgot to mention that Valentine's Day marks the 7th Anniversary of Thomas Productions! Happy Birthday!

Hello. Yesterday we filmed the 6th episode of Marlin the Elite. Episode 5 is uploading to YouTube right now, so go check it out. Also yesterday, while we were filming, our beloved TP camera kind of broke. The light up buttons that you use to play, stop, rewind, fast forward, (etc.) stopped lighting up/working. We had to use Kevin and Kyle's camera for the rest of the shoot (luckily, their camera takes the same kind of tape). I also thought that the eject button to eject the tape stopped working as well, but it turns out I was just doing something wrong. So we are now/going to be in the market for a new camera soon. Of course, any money you can donate would help loads :) So that's all for now. Enjoy the new Marlin episode.

Tues. Sep. 11, 2007

Well, today is a sad day in history :( , but luckily not for Thomas Productions! We've pumped out three episodes from our new series, Marlin the Elite. I would say that they've been a hit (although more comments and views would still be nice). Episodes 4 & 5 are just about complete. Episode 4 should be on YouTube sometime tomorrow, and episode 5 should follow sometime on the weekend. We are planning to shoot episode 6 soon and release it around the week of the 17th. Then things will start to mellow out in the terms of Marlin. We will continue to make Marlin episodes (as we have scripts for five more), but more casually and more spread out. Because of all this movie mania, recording a new TPCast has been pushed to the bottom of the agenda. Maybe we could push out a mini episode on the 21st. Anyway, I'm assuming you guys would rather have more movies. So keep checking out our YouTube page for all of our new stuff.

Well, my internet just came back on after being out for about a day, otherwise I would have written this sooner. Kevin, Kyle, and I have made good headway in the world of TP: we have made (one fully complete and the other filmed) 2 movies that we hadn't planned on, and in doing so, started a new video series (and remember: this isn't the video series that I've been talking about. This is TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!). If all goes well, the completed movie should be up on YouTube TONIGHT!!! So now there's TONES of new stuff coming out! Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

Hello. We just did the TPCast and episode #38 is now online. Also, thanks to Kevin and Kyle, I got the forums to work on my computer!! Yea!!! Next week we will start using the forums again for the polls. Also, I have updated and reformated the Coming Soon page on the website, so go check that out. We also briefly discussed the two new projects we're going to start work on: 1) A short film and 2) a video series. I can not go into either of them any further (we want to keep them surprises so you'll enjoy them more when you see them). So that's it for today. Bye.

Forum Error Feedback

Hello. I had mentioned on the podcast that the TP forums didn't show up on my computers, but Kevin & Kyle said that they could access them on theirs. So I am asking if you (all the readers of this blog) to go to our forums and see if they show up on your computer. Then, please email me (layne_thomas@thomasproductionsinc.com). I would really like to know if it's just my computers that have the problem. If the majority of the people can't access them though, then I will put up the back-up forums. Thanks!
